I was skeptical about this product. I work 12 hour shifts and have chronic back pain. I've tried everything up to and including chiropractor and was still in pain. I tried this as a last resort and OH MY GOD it worked! I have practically no back pain, only wear it for 2 layers. I no longer come home in severe pain. I don't know how it works, but it's comfortable and distributes the weight off the back. It makes my shift comfortable again and brings relief to my weekends. Please try. Don't waste all the money I spent before I got this item. You will not regret it. I wish I could try this sooner than I did. I can't recommend it highly enough
