My husband and I have very sensitive teeth so straws are probably the most quickly used item in our house but I hate buying plastic straws which are so bad for the environment. I tried buying silicone straws but my husband didn't like that they were wavy (he couldn't stir the ice cream in his cup) and he said they tasted weird so I decided to give these biodegradable straws a try! The husband was happy - the straw was enough for the whole day, the ice cream could be stirred, there was no aftertaste! I have a very bad habit of biting a straw while drinking - to my surprise, the straw even lasted a day when I bite down! I've always had bad luck with paper straws (between biting them and trying to use the same straw all day) but this set really impressed me. I even accidentally left mine in a can of soda overnight (there was about 1/8 soda left) and I think I could use a straw if I wanted to! The photos I've attached show the straw after a night in a soda can :) Another plus is the fun and great variety of colors - not really important to me but love how I can use them for a party. like everyday drinks.
