Installation was very easy as my 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer came with old factory halogen headlights. The only real difficulty was finding an extra wire in the fuse box that turns the daytime running lights on and on and off with the key. The difference with the low beam projection is that it's fairly linear and incredibly bright, while the high beam becomes mostly headlights, which are even brighter. Against my better judgment, I got out of the car on a dark, rainy night and found that the dark pavement and pitch black darkness were no longer absorbing all the headlights, and that was before I could get them up to full speed. I'm really impressed with the performance of these headlights.
