beautiful appearance. I get compliments every time I wear these shoes. The green color lets you see the foam used in the base. The comfort it offers on the heel is amazing but a little strange at first. Your heel will feel like it's being rocked to sleep. I had to adjust my step a little from my usual. I've always had an even step and the shoes wear out evenly. At first the design made my legs tuck in a bit. I usually wear women's shoes with a standard width of 9.5. This size was not available. I went up because this shoe has a narrower toe rather than a squarer one. I hate squeezing my toes. Definitely go up if you're between sizes. I deducted a star because the right boot started making a slight squeaking noise in the toe area. The noise is low so it doesn't bother me. As a nurse, I am constantly on my feet and after a (very short) adjustment period, the wearing comfort is amazing. I would also like to point out that shoes with a trailing edge like this can cause some riding difficulties, so you should change your foot position or change your riding shoes if you find this to be a problem.
