Surprising for PC users: if you also want to use a console on it, make sure you have a way to get sound without HDMI.

Great monitor, stable 144hz, Samsung VA panel type is a massive improvement over a properly calibrated TN and I haven't bothered to correct the colors on it yet, the curve is sharp and it's difficult at times to flat screen to return. Unfortunately (though not due to this monitor's flaw) you have to use the displayport to access the free sync feature this monitor has, which is just as reliable once you turn it on. My only downside to this thing is that it doesn't have the ability to pass sound through it. So when I hook up a PS4 to this thing it looks amazing but I have no way of getting sound as there are no speakers or audio ports to just route the audio out of the HDMI and DisplayPort slots. Otherwise a great monitor if you want a 1080p curved screen gaming experience on a PC.
