Review on Camera Fujifilm X-H1 Body by Doyun Park ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

I sent it to Fuji from Panas (he got tired of his TV picture in the video) I also compare the camera with BMPCC (I do not use FULLHD. 4k). I chose between xt3 and x-h1. (We needed a universal photo-video camera with protection from dust and moisture). C100 considered, but he does not take a photo . There was a good discount with a bat block on xH1 + her grip was praised (small cameras all suffer from uncomfortable grip). -the biggest glitch I found - with a microphone connected to the port, when you turn on the camera and at that moment bring your face to the viewfinder (there is a switch to EVF), the camera is cut down tightly ! You have to remove the battery and turn it on again. This does not happen with the connected bat unit or if you turn off the external microphone. Wrote in support of Fuji, but they are silent so far . - good picture quality. (gh4-g80-gx80 did not stand nearby). When compared with BMPCC one to one (in FULLHD), they are very similar. it’s even hard to distinguish (fuji will be better) DD is the same. In terms of noise at high ISOs, xH1 wins. I set the critical iso for myself to 3200 (probably similar to BMPCC 1600). I don't use 4k. - Battery. For a camera of this size with such a handle - bad. But if you look from the other side, then the gx80 works about the same. . XT2-3 is held similarly. - Stub works well. I bought the camera right away with a new firmware, so I didn’t see the horror that was with the stub at the beginning. Of the minuses, it consumes a lot of batteries and the fact that you cannot quickly set the focal length for manual optics. (In Panas, when you turn on the camera with an adapter, you are immediately offered to set the focal length. - very convenient) Ergonomics is debatable. (some buttons where needed, some not. I had to get used to the vaunted handle). ps// All cameras suffer from certain bugs with their +/- and there are no ideal ones. So fuji is not perfect, but a solid 4! More versatile and more comfortable BMPCC but not up to the ergonomics of the C100. And the picture holds out and is better than Lumix.

Pros
  • - versatility (photo + video) - good video and photo in one case. - good film simulations. (especially Acros and Eterna) -flog out of the box -100mbs FULLHD /200mbs 4k. -focus peaking (peaking on BMPCC is better visible due to lower screen resolution) -stub - color rendition - dustproof - microphone port - good built-in microphone (but! writes sound from the stub) - charging from usb - additional screen on top -2 card slots -highlights Higlights (ala poor "zebra") - excellent viewfinder -well made. Japan. - additional screen rotation for vertical shots - with a bat handle it is even more convenient to hold.
Cons
  • - the battery is so-so. One battery lasts me quietly for a whole day. moderate shooting (not weddings. dock and reportage). (20% photo + 80% video) - Raw - 50mb ( - moire fullhd. - change the focal length of the stabilizer for manual optics only from the menu - switching flog only from the menu (which means do not lower ISO <800) - no bw mode for the screen when shooting video (useful for Focus peaking'a) - complex menu (compared to Panas). - glitch of the camera hanging when it is turned on together with the microphone - you can not completely turn off the stub. - inconvenient video/photo switching. - sometimes there are image lags. (But after the floor, the shutter buttons pass).
