I blame myself for not reading the title more carefully. I was looking for hiking pants with good reviews. I've seen photos with long pants. I received the package on time and was wondering where the bottom half of the pants went when I pulled them out of the package. That's when I realized I had ordered the Capri. To be honest, after feeling the material I would have avoided such in the store. I'm 5'6 and weigh 150-152 lbs. I ordered a large size. They fit just right. I was concerned about the chafing and the overall quality. I wanted to return them but I hate the return process. I decided to wear them on my 7 miles out and 7 miles back in one night, my first hike in years. I was positively surprised. Absolutely no irritation and multiple river crossings from knee to mid-thigh depth. The pants were completely dry within 20 minutes each time. The comrade wore jeans that were never quite dry and he felt bad, especially when it got colder at night. I expected tree stumps from all the desert scrub along the trails. Not a single hint. I highly recommend these capris. Now all I have to do is find them in my pants. I was not paid for this review.
