Great sediment filter for brewing
Works well. Make sure the lid is closed tightly. I use it as a sediment filter when pouring beer into the keg from the sub tank. After emptying the barrel, there is still a SMALL amount of sediment at the bottom of the barrel. Again. This is a very, very small amount of sediment. This is a MUCH better method than pouring the beer directly into the keg. Purchased Pentek 158116 1/4" thin clear filter housing and Pentek R30 9-3/4 x 2-5/8 - 30 micron pleated polyester filter cartridge.
