I got this blanket because it was exactly the blanket I needed. Also, it was organic. It is described as "soft" but it is not. I've read reviews that say it's not soft at all, as well as an answer that explains that because it's 100% cotton, it will be really soft. I was fine with that, thinking it would soften over time with washing and use. However, my main issue is its size. He's tiny. It is described as "oversized to accommodate shrinkage". I ordered a king size for my king size bed. It barely covers the mattress and leaves little space underneath. I turned it to the side but it's still small. I tried to stretch. It helps a little, but still very little. How should my husband and I sleep and be covered under this blanket? This is a lot less than our top sheet, which is difficult for us to share. A person is always partially open. And we are ordinary people. I'm fairly small and of average weight. He is of average height and weight. It's not that we're tall or tall people who have to be mindful of our size when ordering blankets and such. Accordingly, I am very disappointed with this product. The statement "large size to shrink" should mean that after washing it will match the sizes of other blankets made of other materials. I don't even know if it suits the queen. A full size bed would be comfortable with this king size comforter. ***After a few nights*** I'm more confident that the comforter will soften with regular wear and washing. It does seem to stretch a little more as it relaxes with use, but still significantly less than we expected or would like. I marked 3 stars for warmth and weight because those are tricky questions. The weight is about what we wanted, but it's not heavy if that's what you expect from a duvet. Just knowing you have a blanket is enough (I don't like super light blankets either). Heat is also a very subjective category. I didn't want a winter-warm blanket. We needed a breathable blanket that would essentially keep out the cold but not overheat. This is our warm blanket. In that sense it is ideal for our needs. **Overall still disappointed with the size and optimistic that it will soften a bit over time. Although the top film protects it from direct skin contact, this is not a problem. Just not that convenient.
