I like to reheat these macaroni and cheeses in the microwave during lunch and they fit in there without the water boiling off. Slightly smaller than a normal feeding bowl. You have to be careful with all of them, like china cups and mugs. Great for pouring a good amount of my coffee. I can also accommodate 1-8.5 ounce microwavable rice bags plus 1-8.5 ounce microwavable curry bags! That's 17 ounces of food with room to spare. I can use the microwave with the lid on if I have to, but I prefer not to use it most of the time. Has a lifting top for ventilation. I bought it again. It can easily be a mug for two hands 😆
