High risk of crushing - irregular running of the grinder Magnet

I had a plan for these magnets. It was a good plan, but the magnets had other ideas. Look, I didn't know they were neodymium magnets. Now I know. Now I know. These magnets come two in a bag and stick together thanks to their own magnetic force. They are separated by a small plastic ring so you can "easily" take them apart and use them. There is also a metal hook that fits into holes on each side of the magnet body. The metal these hooks are made of is incredibly thin. So if you try to detach a magnet from something with this hook, the metal will just pop out of the holes while your magnet is still attached to whatever you attached it to. Let's say you're examining a magnet, trying to explain your brilliant magnet idea to your family, and then make the horrible mistake of pulling them apart too quickly, throwing a plastic ring under the stove and not realizing how strong they are. bring two magnets too close together, bend down to get the little plastic ring, and BOOM, they'll smack each other again. Well, now you've done it. This plastic ring saves you from losing several finger layers. So now you enlist the help of a family member to disassemble the magnets that appear to have been designed to hold the spacecraft's outer panels, and you understand, as do you, that the metal hook simply pulls out of the holes. You examine the tools, you examine the hammer, then close the side holes enough to pull them out, and finally take them apart. After some discussion with the family, you decide it's safest to return the magnets. Now to put them together. As my father put it, "The ring has no edge, to hold the ring you have to be able to hold it perfectly straight and there is a high risk of pinching." So we tried it, it was really tweaking, the ring flew several times with force between the magnets. But after many agonizing attempts and more failures than successes, the magnets are back together, the little ring in place and in the bag for safe shipping back to whoever made them. These aren't fridge magnets, these are heavy-duty, heavy-duty magnets that don't care if your finger gets in the way on the way to its pocket partner.
