**UPDATE** Now I can honestly upgrade these to 4.5 stars. PROS: First, they are as strong as the rollers I bought at the big store, they cost more. I didn't think so because as you can see from the photos the roll circumference looks smaller than you would expect at 50ft. However, by and large they will hold me. My main concern with bags was whether they would be strong enough. I used a different brand of small reel that I bought from a store here and while it was cheap enough to cover the cost of these longer reels, I noticed that they snapped too easily. Some items (like groceries and other items with hard or sharp edges) I had to wrap in paper towels or ordinary plastic wrap beforehand. They sell for a really good price and I don't have to worry that much about them breaking. Having used both resealable bags and rolls, I've found that I prefer rolls. It saves me money because I don't have to buy bags of different sizes for things. I can reuse some of the bags that I cut open, but some items, such as wet or dirty items, I have to throw away for hygiene reasons. However, in some cases they can be rinsed and dried for reuse. I can't even find longer rolls (definitely not 50ft) in local stores here. CONS: Since I'm having rendering issues and haven't looked at the ruler, I didn't notice that they aren't very wide. through. The product is very clearly marked 8 inches in diameter and 50 feet in length. For some reason I just let the length guide me! LOL Even though they are narrow they can still hold most things because you make your own length for each pocket. Next time I will look for this brand in a wider version. Unlike the Food Saver brand that came as a bonus with my packer, these buns are not labeled in any way. It's not a big deal, but the marks helped a bit with the cutting. I could place an item on the bag and see which markings were closest to where I wanted the bag to be sealed. Overall if they were wider and labeled they would be 5+ stars. Despite the lack of labeling I will buy this brand again if I find it in a larger range.
