Review on Set of 3 White Clip & Drip Add-On Hangers by Whitmor for Efficient Drying and Space-Saving by Jessica Duran

Exactly what I needed; Closure hook can be a nuisance

I don't use a dryer so I looked for things that would make drying indoors easier. These hangers have been my best laundry investment to date. Actually, I bought another set! ORIGIN - The packaging states that these hangers are "Made in China". CLIPS - Clips work as expected and are easy to use. I used wooden clothespins which are very difficult to open but they are a breeze. They are also durable - nothing is broken or deformed after a few months of use. They grip the fabric tight enough to leave a grip pattern I usually only notice on my silk handkerchiefs. It washes out in the next cycle and can probably be ironed out, but I'm too lazy to mess with it. . One day I'll get bored enough experimenting with removing the locking piece on one of them, but so far I've always managed to find a way to make it work. This indicates that they are cumbersome but not unmanageable for the creative mind. I'm sure the locking piece will come in very handy outdoors on clothes lines in windy weather or even indoors on a curtain hanger. If I ever get to a hang up operation I will update this review and let you know. USAGE. Being used to hanging clothes, it seems natural to me to put one item on the clip closest to me and the other on the right. next to it and further down the line. I found that this caused the hanger to have a fairly erratic pitch, which mocked the rest of the clips, which hung even farther from me. It's not a design flaw, it's just that. So I adjusted my hanging habit to balance the weight by putting one sock on the outermost side, then one on the other outermost side, and so on and so on, until midway. If I'm feeling particularly organized that day, I can even perfectly coordinate hangers, full socks and handkerchiefs. But I'm so weird Probably not. In theory I loved stacking hangers, but in practice I found it too cumbersome unless I'm in an unusually cramped space where that's the only way to store things. I have found that they dry better when not stacked on top of each other. The only other small, tiny annoyance I have with these hangers is that if you wear them all together, the clips on a hanger can get tangled with the clips closest and it's a hassle to separate them. Again, this isn't a design flaw, just an annoyance that comes with use. These hangers are strong enough for jeans or any other heavy items you want to place on them (seriously, I assume the clothesline will break before they do) but so far I just can't bring myself to do it because it is feels like a waste of clips. But if you want to hang your jeans on it, I won't judge. For real. CONCLUSION. If you want lots of pretty clothespins hanging conveniently in a row that you can move, just get them. you will like them. Stop reading this and click the Buy button to get on with your life. BUT – If the lock thing doesn't sound like a style to you, then you have a decision to make. You can look for other things that don't have this mechanism but might not be as strong. Or, if you're the creative type, you can either live with it (like me) or experiment with cropping. If I ever get to the latter, I'll update this review and let you all know how it worked out for me.
