Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Hosa HMIC-100 REAN XLR3F to XLR3M Pro Microphone Cable - Versatile 100ft Length for Optimal Performance by Ronald Taylor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good cables for rough use.

Microphone cables are either good or bad in live sound. There are no magic cables, no special copper, no fake home audio equipment. You just don't hear the pros talk about the wonders of XLR cables. All you need is a good cable, good connectors and good soldering. There are some cheap cables at Revain that are poorly composed of crappy materials. These wear out quickly. The truth is that at 99% usage you won't hear any difference between the cables. Problems include a fragile cable due to poor workmanship, ill-fitting XLR connectors, and loose cold solder joints. Big brands have stricter quality controls and better materials. There is no magic that sounds better. They just last longer and fit snugly in microphones, stage boxes, and other gear. These Hosa cables are thicker than "regular" cables and are well suited for use with powered speakers and monitors when stepped on, stood on or accidentally flipped. Too fat for itinerant frontmen. I've been using mine for over three years. zero problems.
