This is an archaic camera and should probably be discontinued by Sony as its performance reflects badly on a good company. Tempted by the price ($100), I bought it to replace another Sony model. My biggest issue with the camera was that the screen was so dim that it was useless outdoors even on a cloudy day. Also fragile, already broken, the lens was kind of wrinkled in my cotton backpack. I will take the blame for purchasing a product that did not meet my needs.
