Review on 🚽 Efficient Thetford 33368 Cassette Toilet Pump: Powerful Flushing for Convenient Sanitation by Kenneth Bryan

This is an OEM replacement for the Cassette Pump. We had about 6 years on the original before the impeller shaft rusted and seized. A few more years with a toothpick to free him at the start of each hike. Which isn't too bad, since this mush is under water almost around the clock and seven days a week. So why two stars? If you look at the original Thetford pump, the wiring is in a thick PVC jacket from the pump body up through the gasket and connects to the control module. Everything below the waterline is hermetically sealed. But for this replacement, you get a 6 inch pigtail, some heat shrink tubing, and crimp connectors to hook up the new pump. The water tank in my Therford cassette toilet is about a foot deep. There is an electrical connection below the waterline. What can go wrong? There's no way it's going to last long—these connections will dissipate over time. 20 and included a pigtail long enough to connect above the waterline?!?
