Don't buy for rabbit protection - they eat it

So I bought it to protect rabbits, many people like Lennon The Bunny YouTube rabbit expert Lorelei recommend it with no problem. But every rabbit is different. - My rabbit has already swallowed a lot of this tube and thankfully is healthy, but eating the plastic can cause the rabbit to go into GI stasis which can be DEATH. Also, he eats my strings because he can just gnaw through this pipe. I even wrapped two layers of hose around the cord and it still got through - it's like trying to put out a fire with a hose in fog mode, it will never be enough. So save your money and try other methods to protect your cables. I spent about $25 on two sizes of tubing and now they're all in the trash. I could spend that money on floor wire protectors and wire ducts along baseboards. This might not work either, but I don't know because I haven't tried it yet. I hope they have metal options and not plastic options. However, line coated trails are the best option because they hide the line - rabbits see the FREE lines as "tendrils" and their instinct is to just gnaw through the liana to get it out of the way for good. As you can see from my photo, they don't give up! Their teeth and toughness are very strong! PS Free roaming bunnies in your house are still the most useful thing for them, so don't buy a bunny unless you intend to check bunnies for free roaming or use xpen (e.g. for dogs ($30)). They can be potty trained like a cat (in fact they learn much faster), they are so smart and clean. Rabbits are the third most abandoned pet after dogs and cats. Please no cages. Thank you! 🐰
