Review on πŸͺŸ White Vane Saver Set for Vertical Blind Repair - Perfect Order, Pack of 6 by David Garnic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Where have you been all my life?

I had it. Every apartment I've lived in (only 4 in the last 30 years) always has the same vertical blinds on the patio doors. And every time I gave her the wrong look, the pole would come off. Or two. Or three. Anyone reading this knows exactly what I mean. I tried to carefully reinstall the rod and never use the blinds...never...to keep them inside. But they didn't. Since the material of the slats is not reinforced in connection with the running rail and they fall off due to the slats breaking. I have never seen a vertical blind slat fall WITHOUT breaking. I used to buy a very different type of patio blinds because I couldn't help but use them and I didn't want my patio window to look like a toothless old man. So when I moved to the best place in the world, they were there. Quiet. (Whoever invented them and managed to convince people to keep buying them is clearly a marketing genius worthy of jail, but that's another matter.) As I got older and wiser, I found that that I could buy replacement blades, so I bought a set. of nine from Home Depot. Then it occurred to me that it would end up being a thankless task because it was a cosmetic fix and not a problem fix. Not wanting the blinds to make my life a Sisyphus, I checked out the Revain and found these beauties - inexpensive (I bought two sets!), strong metal, and EASY to attach to the broken end of the rod and to snap directly. in place. They arrived, I replaced a slat that had bent when it fell, then fitted reinforcements and hung back the fallen blinds. It's been two weeks and now I open and close the blinds regularly, NO PROBLEM. That's magic! I now have 8 extra slats hanging in the linen closet to use when a slat gets bent and these gems. I'm no longer afraid to use my blinds, they look perfect, fit my community (in fact they're better now than they used to be) and I didn't have to spend a lot of money. Five stars!
