I have read some reviews on this and was concerned about the construction and quality of the felt stitching as some reviews complained that the box folded easily and has inconsistencies. in embroidery. I've had ours for a few weeks now and I can tell you if you let your child climb onto the lid they will collapse on their own. So if you can't prevent it, you're in trouble. If you keep overstuffing the toy box, the mold will lose its integrity over time. Just the reality of building. Luckily my daughter doesn't climb the summit so we didn't have that problem. A cat jumped onto the closed lid and pushed it into the toy box, but didn't do it again. We don't overfill the breast and the shape holds well. We use ours in the living room for toys that migrate there. I will ask my daughter to put all the homeless toys in a chest before she is allowed to see the show ;). So overall I'm very happy I bought it and it fits quite a bit which was another issue. The lid isn't very durable, but for the price, you get what you pay for. This is by no means a wooden or souvenir box. The bear is AMAZING and the stitching was in perfect condition so reviews describing issues were likely corrected by the seller.
