We had a 12+ year old Invisible Fence brand fence on a 1/2 acre lot. There were 5 wire breaks in the extension and several long pieces of wire were removed. Used a Kolsol Underground Wire Locator F02 to find breaks and a set of 15 dog fence splices to mend breaks. Also, U-shaped steel anchor pins were used to fix the wire underground. The whole process took 4 to 5 hours between finding the ends of the broken cable underground and laying a new cable where needed. Our area is very rocky with large tree roots.
