Review on Lystin Professional Painting Halloween Brushes by Sasha Hsiao

Great for the price and easier to use than you might think if you use it properly.

So for the price I think it's very good. I saw a lot of reviews about it being too oily and I agreed to open it first but my opinion has changed a bit. When you first open it, you can see the real oil at the top. I decided to leave the top off for a couple of hours and it got rid of the visible oil. The top layer is noticeably oilier than the rest. You really need to erase or remove some of the top then the quality will be much better. They feel and cure like party town oil paint, if you let the layers dry first you can add more, to intensify the color a bit. To cover large areas I scoop little by little to better cover my cosmetic sponge. I've also seen some say it stains and is difficult to remove, but I use Kroger makeup wipes and haven't had any problems or blemishes yet. Keep in mind that the skin around the eyes is more delicate and prone to stains, but even in this case I haven't had any problems. If you want it to stay on your skin for a long time, using translucent powder or baby powder helps a lot! I will say that even with the top layers removed some of the colors are still struggling to show and not just a slight color wash. If you want something really opaque, including black, Brown, white and purple, I would skip this product. But if you've ever used Halloween makeup, it's very similar and cheaper to buy because of the number of colors you get. In short, if you want all colors to be really opaque, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for an inexpensive palette that's on par with Halloween store makeup colors, this is great.

Little oily, but it still works great. some of the colors stain, but you get what you pay for.
