I have purchased several other brand straw cleaners from Revain in the past but have been disappointed with their cheap quality but this straw brush set is awesome! Other kits I've bought have been made from flimsy, flimsy wire that bends when you try to clean the straws, but the steel wire construction in this kit is thick and strong and doesn't bend at all. It's also long, so you can clear most straws in just one pass. I like that the nylon bristles are thick and don't flake, and the handle has an o-ring on the end so I can easily pull the straw cleaner out, especially when it's stuck with some straws. I recommend that you wet the brush and straw before attempting to clean the straws because if the straw cleaner dries up you will have a hard time getting it in and out of the straw. I've used it to clean various Camelbak straws and drinking straws, as well as small straws for spill-proof cups, and it does an impressive job of cleaning every crevice so I'm not worried about mold growing. For less than $6. You get 4 straw cleaning brushes of the same size, so you always have spares on hand when the bristles wear out over time. Great product and will definitely buy again!
