I have several briefcases at the moment but my favorite is the new leather Polare. The leather is fantastic, the hardware is solid, and you'll feel like you're carrying a really expensive bag. But the best part is the perfect size. A lot of my briefcases were thicker, which is fine if you really need to pack a lot of papers, books, and other things. But, as a rule, this is just a laptop, tablet, accessories and a minimum of paper. This bag is perfect for that, and you don't have to carry a bag with a lot of extra weight and bulk. For most working days this is the right briefcase. When I'm traveling and need to pack a lot of extra stuff, I switch to one of my thicker briefcases. There are all the standard pockets and compartments you would expect and a nice touch is that the laptop sleeve is removable. So you can balance your padding needs with the option of extra space to add more stuff or a larger laptop. This bag is an absolute winner. Please note that this is best for 13-15 inch laptops. If you have a big 17 inch it won't fit.
