Looks the same as the picture, very attractive. I've been wearing them almost constantly for over two months, including in the shower, and they remain shiny and vibrant. The back also holds up well what I wanted. This is good because unscrewing it on the back is a bit tricky - the back is small and you have to start correctly - so I wouldn't want to do that often. I've taken them off a few times to give them and my earlobes a good clean and I think I'm getting the hang of it. They're great once, but if you have limited dexterity or finger sensitivity, they can be more difficult. The only other potential downside is that the posts are quite long. Because the ends are closed, you cannot tighten them any further. This makes it more comfortable to sleep in since the needle doesn't cut into the back of the neck. I don't find my ear lobes particularly thin, but when the earrings are pushed forward they droop a bit and look like they'll fall out. I just regularly withdraw them and everything is fine. I wear them in the middle of my rags. If you want to use them in a tight spot along the back of your ears, or if your ears are very protruding, the extra length may be less appealing. However, if you have thick earlobes or wear them in areas with thicker cartilage, these are for you!
