They're great, they look great and they're perfect for everything except remote start if that feature isn't already enabled in your car. Beware owners of cars 2011 and newer. After dealing with both dealerships and a few phone calls with me and GM, we finally came to the conclusion that GM will no longer allow remote start activation without purchasing their "kit" which includes two new GM fobs/keys. After repeated attempts by the service technician to find a way around this, it clearly just isn't possible. I suspect GM switching to non-home programmed in 2011 and newer wasn't enough when they realized people only bought cheap aftermarket keys, now they have to be bought fob too! It would be great for 2010 and up. If your vehicle has an AP8 trim code in the glove box but your current key fob does not have a remote start button, then this feature is not yet enabled even if the vehicle supports it. In that case you will need to buy a GM kit from the dealer but if your remote start is already activated then this is a great replacement!
