I bought these because my only mode of transportation is a motorcycle. I use them to attach my laptop bag to my back seat and they work great. I usually use passenger pegs and attach rubber straps to the helmet buckles under the back seat. I had no problems transporting the bag to/from work. They also hold up very well on the track. I think the way I have to carry my bag is far from ideal, but these straps make it possible! If you're looking for a way to attach all your stuff to your bike, this is the way to go!
