I ordered this to block the interior light from my eyes as I have "edge flare" from lenses put in my eyes during cataract surgery became. I don't really wear it outside because natural light doesn't bother my eyes, only artificial light. I love that this is a type of headband with no clasp at the back. I have very short hair and I think it's best not to have these prominent fences that my hair can't hide. It took me a while to get used to the feel of the headband but it wasn't uncomfortable, it just felt weird wearing it on my head as I'm not used to wearing any type of hat. I stretched the headband a bit to make it more comfortable but regretted it because now it doesn't stay the way I'd like it to. Overall I think it's a stylish choice and does the job.
