When I bought my trailer the manufacturer simply connected the battery + to the tractor's 12v line. Fortunately, GMC has not installed a fuse to connect accessories. Otherwise the battery could explode. Searching the internet I came across this charging module. It's just the thing to fit in your battery compartment and keep your battery charged. Three easy wires to connect: * 12v auxiliary line * battery positive * electric brake line.
