Review on UGREEN 4 Port USB Hub 3.0 Data Hub | High-Speed Mac Mini, MacBook Air, iMac Pro, Surface Compatible | Portable Extension Cable Included by Matthew Mrspeach

Works great with my Surface 3. I connected a 1TB external hard drive, mechanical keyboard and optical mouse to this hub and effectively transformed my Surface 3 from a tablet/laptop to a desktop. The hub has worked flawlessly so far, to the point where I just plugged it in and forgot about it. I haven't had a single problem. For convenience I added velcro to the bottom to attach to the side of my desk. The USB cable is thick and the hub is very light so it has a habit of wandering around when the cable gets tangled. Also worth noting is that the cable is around 3 feet long, making it very convenient to place it "where I want it" rather than "right next to the port" like many other similar hubs expect you to would. I'm not sure what else to say. It's nice to buy a product that just works. My only complaint is that the power cord for this hub has to be purchased separately. At the same time, you only really need a power cord if you want to charge smaller devices or use devices that require more power than your device's USB port can deliver. Unless you purchase an additional power cord, the device is powered entirely from your USB port, which is usually enough to power all but the most power-hungry USB devices. With the power cord plugged in, I can use this hub to charge my Bluetooth headphones and USB backup battery. But it's not putting out enough current (2+ amps) to charge my Surface 3. If it could, that would be better than ideal.
