I do a lot of water exercises and have purchased the thin elastic top shoes and have already had to buy two pairs because they stretched out. This pair has a cord that you can tighten, so even if the top does stretch out it can be tightened so it doesn't slip off my heel. They drain nicely and are light in the water. They do run a bit big and wide but it is not a problem. I normally wear a 9 and that's what I ordered. They are a bit long, but better than too short. Would definitely recommend these if you do a lot of water aerobics and zumba.
