So they get the job done, but with a little help. Five stars for the lightness, but in my opinion they are too light. Looking at the photo I had to use about 3lbs. Ankle weights to ensure they stay upright and don't fall off due to the weight of the fabric backdrop I'm using. Still, the weights don't feel heavy enough to hold. Stability. inferior and somewhat disappointing. They kept falling off until I found the sweet spot where it finally worked and used ankle weights. These tripods look and feel pretty solid, but stability is compromised by the lightweight component. However, these are good tripods. The price is fair enough for what you get. I was able to mount the clips I bought on it with no problem and they do what they are supposed to do. If you have the money, be sure to try to find and buy a heavy-duty, long-lasting, and reliable tripod. If you don't need it right now, you can buy this twin pack until you're ready to upgrade.
