In short. Do not buy. I like Geeni because there is no monthly fee. They work on SD cards. Yes, someone can just steal your camera or SD card and you're out of luck. I bought 7 or 8 GEENI cameras to come in my house. So when I needed a camera for outdoor lighting, I bought this. I don't know if the brand is ready for outdoor cameras or what's going on, but I've had it less than 6 months and it started just turning itself off at night. No motion or light recording. After several days of trying all the tricks I learned with the internal cameras and several emails with videos showing support issues/hours, they thought it was a software issue. I asked for a refund so I can buy another GEENI outdoor camera. Well, for 4 days I can't talk her into another camera. I bought one and am very happy with it so far. SUPER easy setup. SPEND THE MONEY and get a flicker. Especially when you need a product for the road.
