I purchased a refurbished/used version of this item and it came boxed and ready to use. I initially had setup issues because I was trying to use my iPhone, which only connects to my 5GHz band, but it took less than 5 minutes after switching to Android setup. These bulbs were customized and added to my smart home setup with my Alexa and Google speakers. I set them to low brightness as my bathroom is in a dark place and full brightness is not needed at night. Love the features and hope to update my review when I add a sensor to turn on the light.
