Don't get your hopes up -- they're low cost for a reason. The case is plastic and looks it. I didn't trust the waterproofing, so I added clear silicone around the edge of the solar cell. I haven't had any problems in that regard. The dual color feature is nice; the white is very glaring white and the other color is a pleasant amber. The amber is much dimmer. After a few months both units are working but one doesn't always light as brightly as it did at first. When they first arrived they were very bright. It's still good for marking a path but not very useful for letting you see obstacles. I'd rather buy units like this and replace them as necessary than pay more for performance that the reviews don't indicate is really better.
