I recommend this product for two main reasons. Firstly, the pattern is beautiful - it's a very attractive item to keep. In addition, the cases themselves are durable and well made. The zippers all work well. What's great is that there's a clear viewing window to look inside the large storage boxes so you know what's inside. In general, the cases themselves are both beautiful and functional. The second reason I would recommend this product is the variety. You will receive many different cases for your Chinese kit. I've looked everywhere for sets that can hold my entire set. I have a very old set from my great great grandmother and it has a lot of different items. I couldn't find a set that offers as many cases as this one at such a great price. I ended up buying two of these sets to store all my Chinese jewelry. I can store in two sets: tea cups, saucers, dessert plates, salad plates, dinner plates, soup plates, bowls, gravy boat and plates, 1 small oval bowl, 1 medium oval bowl, 1 large oval bowl, a serving platter. with a lid, a round bowl, an oval bowl, a sugar bowl and a cream boat. All for the service for twelve. Also, I have a few drawers left that go with other good serving utensils. The only cons I can think of and the reason I gave it four stars is the size. They seem to be a little large, and I actually put some bubble wrap on the outside of the ones that the plates and bowls fold into for extra protection. The second negative is the dividers for plates and bowls that come with the kit, they suck. It's thin and cheap foam rubber. I had to buy separate felt dividers to protect between plates and bowls. All in all a very good product that I can recommend to anyone who is interested.
