I had high hopes for this stylish little gem of a hand warmer based on the description and reviews. Unfortunately, the promise did not come true. While the flashlight is comfortable and very bright, and the strap makes it comfortable, I didn't find it to last between 3 and 5 hours as stated in the pack instructions. At best, it ran for two hours without keeping it consistently warm, which is disappointing on a long winter hike. I was looking for something better than small disposable hand warmers, but they stay warm for much longer. Also, the green LED should turn off when the optimal temperature is reached, but the LED will either blink or stay on all the time, so it's possible this is draining the battery and reducing warm-up time. I've tried this indoors and out to see if cooler outside temperatures could play a role in the battery issue, but it still doesn't seem to be working properly.
