Need an "Alton Brown" Kosher Salt Cellar? That's it. In the early seasons of fine dining he used a table craft style salt rack, at early shows you can see the spoon cutout in the lid. He then designed his own holder and used it for the rest of the series. The only problem is that the holder he made is no longer for sale, so the ones you find at Revain or elsewhere won't have a handle if you need lots of pinches of salt. Because of this, this holder is now the closest thing to what Alton used. It's almost identical to the original in its early years, and there's no spoon hole in the lid, which isn't needed for kosher salt anyway. The best thing is that it has a handle on the back to hold it while in use. Need a kosher salt holder? This is the best on the market as others no longer have real handles or have useless holes in the lid.
