Outback is a great company. I ordered components for my solar system before I actually had the system developed. I didn't understand at all what I need. This Outback is ideal for small installations. Automatically detects battery and system voltage. I like how the Outback works on my system. It's worth every penny. After building and installing my system, I realized there was a better way to maximize panel performance. I'm still using the Outback, but this Outback can only handle 150VDC. Do lots of research. Design your system well. Take your time. Go to the country if you can afford it. It's plug and play. super easy. It's amazing I didn't burn it with all the creative ways I found to screw it up! After the installation I called Outback for help. The tech expert made me so angry! How dare he sully my honor and say that the problem is in the wiring! It turns out he was right! I found and fixed a short one. Since then no problems.
