Just received and right out of the box you can feel the quality of this mount! What drew me to it wasn't just the numerous 5 star reviews, but the various features and mounting options available. First, the phone's neck is very stiff, which is good if you want your phone to stay in place while you're driving. I've had other bindings where the neck wasn't even remotely stiff to begin with, but loosened and moved over time. This mount won't be doing that anytime soon (if ever!), and if it does, the added support of the optional base holder ensures it never moves even then! Finally, there are several ways to mount the phone. They have a quick release clip, a regular side clip, a diagonal clip that looks good to avoid side buttons and inputs, and even a strong magnet version! First I wanted a diagonal clip to avoid all the buttons. I ended up going with a quick release as I liked the ease of use when inserting and removing my phone. However, I forgot that my phone's headphone jack is on the bottom and the quick release gets in the way as it has a bottom that locks the phone in place. This can be avoided by elevating the phone higher or turning it upside down, but if I had known that I would have opted for other mounts instead. Since it was just an oversight on my part, I (of course) didn't dock any stars. In summary, you can't go wrong with this vehicle with all its options/features. Just make sure you choose the right mount for your phone!
