Excellent scissors for my direct use. I fish with Dyneema or Spectra line in different strengths. This is an unusually strong material and will ruin a pair of nail clippers used with monofilament line and specialty nail clippers. All tackle shops sell very small scissors (probably because of the weight) - I was looking for something more permanent. I have very big hands. Haven't taken them fishing yet, but I've clipped the line. Type of steel, hardness and cutting edge are evident in use. These lines eat scissors like crazy. The time will show; Definitely nice scissors.
