Review on 🏊 Intex Super-Sized Inflatable Float Mat by James Brault

This design isn't practical unless you live on the beach

I wanted something I could take on a boat and swim in the lake and this seemed like a good choice. However, I think it was designed by someone who lives in the middle of nowhere and dreams of one day having a floating island in a crystal clear ocean or lake. In fact, in many ways it is not. I'm a community resident and I have to drive 2 minutes to the jetty, take the cable car to the jetty, take one of the coolest boats to get to the right boat. I can also drive to a lakeside park, park my car, and walk about 10 minutes to the actual boat dock or the water's edge. This thing weighs 20 pounds and is gigantic without inflation. It doesn't come with a pump, which is fine, meaning I'll have to bring a real one as this giant doesn't fit in my standard sized SUV. First, I don't have a backpack big enough for a mat and pump. Second, this thing is heavy. There are a good 25 kilos between the pump and the mat. Plus, you'll need to carry towels, drinks, sunscreen, a 15-pound dog, and a vigorous walk to the jetty. I must be the Incredible Hulk. My biggest issue is the weight and size. This works great if you have a pickup truck that you can park at the beach or lake. It's not practical for most people who have to carry this thing with another 5-pound inflatable.
