Review on Shure Cancelling Headphones Studio Quality Technology Cell Phones & Accessories by Aditya ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

The noise reduction and USB compatibility were the main reasons I bought them, however I was ultimately dissatisfied with their performance and returned the headphones to the shop because of the buzz and extra noise they produced while in use. I also thought the sound quality was excellent, but not to the point where I could keep them for myself. Pros: 1) The audio quality. 2) The ability to function with a USB connection rather than only a 3.5mm wire when linked to a computer. Cons of it: 1) I did not compare directly at the same time; instead, I relied solely on my memories, but it appeared that the noise reduction, even in the highest setting, was significantly less than that of the Sony WH-1000XM4. 2) There is a significant latency while using Bluetooth to connect to a computer, making it uncomfortable to watch movies because of desynchronization. As far as I'm aware, practically all Bluetooth headphones operate in this way. 3) Huge, heavy, and yet surprisingly comfy. 4) They buzz at 50Hz when charging via USB from an outlet while the noise reduction is activated. Also, there will be a buzz if you put on headphones and pick up a phone that is charging. There is less or nearly no buzz if you connect to a computer through USB, but at the same time, a squeak or interference is frequently audible if, for instance, you move the mouse or use the computer in any other way.
