Review on HDMI 4 Port KVM Switch: Share Keyboards, Mice, and Devices Across 4 Computers with 4K@60Hz Support by Coby Hall

This switch is amazing!

I was looking for a 3-4 computer switch and didn't need any of those traditional USB powered options. The funny thing is that there is an AC adapter included in the box (USB powered but still independent) but I forgot to plug it in for a whole week and this thing worked just fine. It's very small for what it does, and that's an advantage. It's small and can fit under a monitor, attached to either side of the bottom of a table, or simply hung from it. Since it's very light, I'll mention that if you plan on keeping it on the edge of the table, you'll need to secure it somehow. I've found that the weight of USB cables hanging from the back tends to pull it down causing it to tip over. Not bad for emergencies, but aesthetically clumsy. None of that is a problem as unlike most other switches I've seen/owned this one comes with a separate 4 button controller which is great if you plan to do the under the table route like I did use. I also purchased a 15ft USB AB cable to connect the Switch from my main setup and production station to the HTPC across the room and had no issues with the longer cable. I didn't use the HDMI part as I have multiple screens and just needed to control other settings using the same keyboard and mouse. Given the price, I cannot recommend this device more highly. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dual port switch on the market to give this little engine a try. I have no doubts that you will not be disappointed.
