I'm a big fan of color catcher sheets. I've been using the same brand since they came out and was a bit reluctant to try these new Binbata Color Catcher Sheets. I'm so glad I did. Some of my washing tips. Personally, I don't use them on every load of laundry. If I'm making a lot of white, everyday towels or colored perpetual presses that I've washed many times, this isn't necessary. However, when I'm washing jeans, new colored clothes, new towels, or something new with lots of color, I throw one of those sheets in the washing machine. After washing the new piece a few times I feel like I can mix it with other lighter colors. I do throw one of those sheets in the washing machine, though, just in case. In fact, if it's a small load, I can just tear the sheet in half. For very large or colorful loads, the manufacturer recommends a couple of leaves. I never load that much as it seems to "corrode" my washing machine. I'm also very careful never to wash new dark jeans with other clothes. Also, I don't wash red, navy, or black with other clothes unless they're ancient and have been washed many, many times. These sheets literally act like a magnet, catching color while they're in your washing machine. When you take the sheet out of the washing machine you will notice how dark it has gotten. If you accidentally toss it in the dryer with your clothes, no problem. However, if you wash multicolored clothes together, do not leave wet clothes in the washing machine. It can convey colors. I just love these binbata leaves. They are larger than the ones I used. I find size 24 quite expensive (37 cents per download). However, a box of 110 only costs 12 cents per download! They are so effective and really do exactly what they say they will. Five stars from me!
