Warning FIRE HAZARD! I've had this charger for almost a year, plugged into a grounded outlet in my bedroom. During that time I had two things (my echo dot and my modem) plugged into outlets and two lighting cords into USB ports. Sometimes I added another plug or USB item. I've noticed that I've used a lot of charging cables, but thought these were the cables I bought. Then I noticed the smell of burning electronics and tracked it down. Only four things were plugged into it at the time it overheated, and the USB cables weren't even charging anything (thankfully). You can see in the photo where it heated up to the point where it melted and bubbled its own plastic. Very scared and happy I only lost a couple of chargers and not the whole house or our lives! I will try to contact the company as they need to retrieve these products and update their answer.
