At the time of writing this article I have used three different kits: the RB1 kit, the GHWT kit and the RB2 kit. smarter than the GHWT set. He has a lot of good moments and a few bad ones. To summarize here: Good - More bounce than RB1 set - Quieter than RB1 set - Speed sensors - Wireless - Metal mace - Better sensitivity - Better frame Poor - Strange sensitivity issues - Strange pad sounds - D-pad and face buttons soft and difficult to use . It's hard to say that this is a bad set because it actually isn't. Compared to the WT set, the pads feel a little better, the pedal stays nice and firm, and it's cheaper. After using only the RB1 kit for many months, I can say that I really like everything. If that's your only problem with the old set, then buying this one is more than enough. The pads have a good rebound, not at all like real drums but a lot more than the first set. The pedal is also very good compared to them. My old petal was held onto a piece of plywood. My legs hurt because of the wood and the screws sticking out. There was also a lack of tension, which made playing fast bass a little more difficult. The metal petal is very beautiful. I haven't had any issues with it and I don't think it's going to break any time soon. The frame of the RB2 set is also a nice improvement. Things fit better and the kit tightens more efficiently. It's changed a bit since I first tuned everything out, but it's not as bad as my old set and not enough to annoy me into changing my mind. It still glides even on my carpet, but that's an improvement. He also feels stronger. Also, although I didn't really need it before, this set is wireless. A nice plus if you're in a large room or if you want to move the set around a bit more. It comes with batteries, which is always a good gift. Speed sensors are nice and fun to play with, but they're almost useless in game. They're really new and disrupt the game a bit, if at all. My red pad is very sensitive, but the green pad has to be hit pretty hard to get the same volume as hitting the red softly. It's just a little annoying and I don't care, but I want it to work properly. However, there were no green notes in the set, at least not yet. I have no problem hitting it, it just makes louder noises. After playing with the set for a few days, my yellow pad broke. Weekend. I really don't know how to explain it. It's not broken or coming off or anything but the noise it makes is very audible and different from the other pads. Not that it's that bad, but it confuses me a bit. However, after living with him, I noticed him less and less. The D-pad and face buttons just suck. I hate them and they hardly work. Probably the worst part of this kit are the face buttons. I failed a lot of songs because the beginning didn't work. Not that it's that bad since you can use the pads to navigate, but it's a bit annoying that it doesn't actually work. Overall I would say this set is well worth the money I paid for it and I am very pleased. have it.
