My sons still love playing rock band and it's one of the few things they do together without fighting. Unfortunately, our original drums no longer work. The seller was amazing. Super fast delivery. The drums worked perfectly. The price was perfect. I couldn't ask for more!

The drum pads were bubbling and falling off :(

Rock Band is a great game to play with friends. Maybe too great. After about 2 months of use the drum pads on my set were bulging and falling off completely That aside the wireless features are so much better than the original that I would still recommend them, but don't bang them too hard as they're pretty fragile/not 100% durable for drumstick hits, especially if you're a playing expert.

Very Good Drum Kit - Xbox 360

I bought a Rock Band 2 drum kit because my first kit was too worn to continue. Happy to say it looks like it will last me a long time. Looks more solid than the first, is wireless and has cymbal jacks. The kit itself is an improvement over the first as the sticks bounce off the pads more easily and the legs have grid markings to accurately set your height every time. The black pads look better than the gray pads and look really cool with cymbals and are also a bit quieter than the first oneโ€ฆ

Look! No wires! - Xbox Systems

My family has been playing RB since it first came out and I usually take vocals or drums. Vocals because I'm a karaoke fan, and drums because (1) they're quieter than vocals when kids are trying to sleep, and (2) they're all playing guitars. i hate guitar After a few years of use/bullying, kids were killing the RB1 drum pedal. Instead of paying $25 for a new pedal, I decided to spend $45 on an RB2 drum kit. It comes with an improved pedal, quieter drumheads, an option for additional cymbals and

Great improvement but still quality issues

The RB2 drum kit is a significant improvement over the RB1 drum kit in many ways. First, it's more sensitive and also more sensitive to hits - so the harder you hit, the louder the sound (but only for free play). With more sensitivity comes less frustration from missed notes you know you pressed but the game didn't register. The design of the drum pads has also been improved. You no longer encounter hard plastic that cracks over time. Now you encounter some kind of foam with a rubber membraneโ€ฆ

Better, but not better

At the time of writing this article I have used three different kits: the RB1 kit, the GHWT kit and the RB2 kit. smarter than the GHWT set. He has a lot of good moments and a few bad ones. To summarize here: Good - More bounce than RB1 set - Quieter than RB1 set - Speed sensors - Wireless - Metal mace - Better sensitivity - Better frame Poor - Strange sensitivity issues - Strange pad sounds - D-pad and face buttons soft and difficult to use . It's hard to say that this is a bad set because itโ€ฆ
