My family has been playing RB since it first came out and I usually take vocals or drums. Instead of paying $25 for a new pedal, I decided to spend $45 on an RB2 drum kit. It comes with an improved pedal, quieter drumheads, an option for additional cymbals and is wireless. Almost immediately after receiving the RB2 kit I found a new three cymbal kit on Craigslist for $20 (sorry Revain) and I absolutely love it. BTW - the nib is for a set of three, not a set of two which is usually sold in big stores. So let's put it this way: $25 for a new pedal, $15 for a muffler, and $10 for a USB extension cable. = $50 for an upgrade of my RB1 kit versus $45 for a brand new RB2 kit that is completely wireless with the option to easily add cymbals.
