The C-Clamp that attaches this bracket to the edge of a table is actually a bent steel bracket (1/8 - 1/4 inch). thick). It has three screw holes that are used to attach to the mounting base. However, the screw holes were misaligned and the bracket was actually bent over two of the screw holes, making it impossible to screw it to the base properly. I didn't get any timely replies to the issue and had to return it and replace it with another brand that has worked fine (so far). Due to poor support and obvious manufacturing and actual assembly issues (very clumsy) I do not recommend this brand or model at all. To be honest it has been two weeks since this issue and the return and I still haven't received my requested refund (September 8th) even though the item has been returned.
