Review on 🐹 Enhanced CritterTrail X: Super Pet's Ultimate Small Pet Habitat by Peter Leblanc

Here's the problem: The top wheel fell off last night. Our daughter has a Winter White (a dwarf hamster so cute and small) and very rarely uses this wheel - she loves his side wheel which is attached to a tube at the end of another cage. Tonight I was in another room and heard a plastic crack and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I didn't realize the top wheel was missing for about 20 minutes, just looking in to make sure the two cages were still there. Dresser. Poor Pixel was found in another room a good 40 minutes after the accident, thankfully slightly soaked but with no visible injuries and no behavior to suggest pain or fear. We removed the "slider" and wheel from this cage and covered the top hole after trying to replace it with a fixed view hatch. The hole does not appear to work with Kaytee brand hoses; I'm not sure if we need a specific type of adapter for this particular hole as it's designed for this unique slide and wheel or if it's just not compatible. I'm happy with the cage itself, but it was very dangerous for the hamster to fall off the dresser in the exercise wheel. I was very upset about losing the "slide". I can't get it to adjust to the tubes at the top while still keeping the slide. Pixel would rather climb up and down that hill than bike over it. Wish us luck in finding a way to adjust this hole when using the slide.
